Carole K. Parker, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Monday January 2, 2012 at 12:35 am in Union Hospital. She had worked at Meis for many years as a computer operator. Carole was born November 25, 1942 in Terre Haute to Roy Thompson and Marian (Stiegelbauer) Thompson. She is survived by a daughter: Cara Griffith and her husband Budd; a son: Robert Lawson and his wife Tammie; 4 sisters: Sylvia Jurgonski, Delight Walters, Mary Thompson, and Heather Kuckewich; 6 brothers: Ron Thompson, Paul Thompson, Roy Thompson, Steve Thompson, George Thompson, and Donald Thompson; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Dustin, Lacy, Josh, and Shyron, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marion Parker who died September 28, 1999 and a infant daughter Pamela. Visitation will be Saturday January 7, 2012 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. with a memorial service in the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Father Ed Goldbach officiatinag. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
